DigitalChalk, a leading online training software and learning management system (lms) provider, announces expanded functionality for the Certificates Feature of its e-learning platform.
August 15, 2012 – Asheville, NC
In DigitalChalk’s June release, the online training software company added the ability for companies to collect customized data from their students in the form of a new “user fields” feature. With this new release, DigitalChalk has expanded the function of the user fields data to allow companies to easily add the information directly on to the Certificate of Completion that is issued when their students pass a course.
Also included in this new release, DigitalChalk has added the ability to issue multiple certificates per course. Previously, a certificate was only issued when a course was passed based on the settings the course administrator defined for course completion. With the new changes, course administrators can issue certificates throughout the course (i.e. certificates issued when certain milestones are reached in the course), as well as issue one or more certificates upon full passing and completion of the entire course.
“Our customers expect maximum flexibility from our e-learning platform, and we strive to consistently deliver a robust system that meets our users’ needs”, said Russ Stinehour, Co-Founder and CEO of DigitalChalk. “Each company has different requirements for the information they include on the certificates they issue to their students, and when the course certificates are issued. We understood our customer’s requirements and expanded our certificate functionality to meet our customer’s needs.”
